Youth, culture and urban tribes
In this unit, we will work with the concept of "urban tribe"
and explore some of their characteristics. You will:
· Work
in groups
· Find
and analyze information about current issues.
· Use English as
a means for international communication.
· Reflect
on your own culture and cultural practices.
Before we start, discuss these questions in small groups:
· Why are some teenagers part of "Urban
Tribes"?
· Is it just a "fashion"?
· Are
you part of an urban tribe?
